Introduction to the Project and Location
At The Spray Lab, we recently had the pleasure of transforming a kitchen in Bournville, Birmingham. Our customer, an absolute delight to work with, wanted to refresh their beautifully designed, artsy kitchen with a rich and elegant colour—Farrow & Ball’s Bancha Green. As a token of appreciation, they even treated us to some beers afterwards!
Description of the Original Kitchen
The kitchen was already a well-thought-out and stylish space, filled with artistic elements and a strong personality. However, the existing colour lacked depth and character, and the customer wanted something that would elevate the room’s design and enhance its creative feel.

Bancha Green is a deep, sophisticated olive green that exudes warmth and style. It perfectly complemented the artsy aesthetic of the kitchen, creating a cozy yet refined atmosphere. This shade added a timeless quality to the space while making it feel fresh and full of character.

Preparation – The kitchen units were carefully cleaned, sanded, and primed to ensure a flawless application.

Professional Finishing – The doors and drawers were expertly refinished in our workshop using high-quality Farrow & Ball paint to achieve a rich, even finish.

Reassembly & Inspection – Once dry, the components were reinstalled, and a thorough quality check was conducted to ensure a perfect result.
